Boating Course (PPCDL)

PPCDL is required for operators of engine-powered/ jet-propelled pleasure craft (with SZ or SZH license). It ensures that boaters are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate their craft safely within the port waters. The PPCDL also allows relevant enforcement agencies to easily identify the operator.

Requirements a) Be at least 16 years of age
b) Produce a valid certificate issued by a medical practitioner certifying that he/she has passed a sight test and is not physically handicapped

2025 Prices

Raffles Marina members: S$327 nett
Students: S$327 nett; must present valid student ID card
Public: S$381.50 nett
RM Staff: S$272.5 nett
Prices are inclusive of 2024 GST, at 9%.

Theory: $21.80 nett (Singaporean/ PR); $43.60 nett (Foreigner) 
Practical: $109.00 nett (Singaporean/ PR); $163.50 nett (Foreigner)

Theory and Exam Fees to be paid directly to Singapore Maritime Academy at Singapore Polytechnic.
